Operational guidelines, permit non-transferability, and guest conduct in Indian wildlife reserves.
1. Inquiries & Confirmation Policy
Submitting an inquiry through this website generates a formal request acknowledgment. An inquiry does NOT constitute a confirmed safari reservation. Wildlife entry permits across Ranthambore, Jhalana, Sariska, Tadoba, Panna, and Palighat are governed by strictly regulated state Forest Department vehicle quotas. A booking is confirmed only after permit availability is verified, required identification documents are validated, and formal booking confirmation is issued by our operations team.
2. Government Identification Mandate
All safari participants must provide authentic government-issued photo identification details during the booking process:
- Indian Citizens: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport.
- International Travelers: Valid Passport details (full legal name, passport number, and nationality).
The identical physical identification document submitted at booking must be presented in original format at the park checkpost. Forest Department authorities deny entry to any traveler whose physical document fails to match the issued permit details.
3. Permit Non-Transferability & Fees
State Forest Department rules dictate that once a safari permit is issued, it is strictly non-transferable, non-amendable, and non-refundable. Changes to visitor names, dates, or safari shifts cannot be accommodated once registered on the government portal.
4. Wildlife Sightings Disclaimer
Indian national parks and tiger reserves are unfenced, natural wilderness habitats. While our certified naturalists and local trackers employ expert tracking methodologies, wild animal sightings cannot be guaranteed. Sightings depend on animal territory movements, weather conditions, distress calls, and natural behavior.
5. Park Regulations & Visitor Conduct
While inside wildlife reserves, all guests must strictly adhere to the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and state sanctuary guidelines:
- Guests must remain inside the safari vehicle at all times, except at officially designated rest stops.
- No shouting, loud conversation, musical instruments, or sudden gestures toward animals.
- Single-use plastics, alcohol, smoking, and littering are strictly prohibited inside park boundaries.
- Drones, flash photography, and off-road driving are severe legal violations resulting in immediate vehicle confiscation and legal penalties.
- Guests must respect all instructions issued by the assigned Forest Department guide and vehicle driver.
6. Force Majeure & Weather Closures
Roaring Jungles is not liable for itinerary disruptions caused by government park closures, extreme weather, flash floods, or administrative strikes. In circumstances where parks are shut down by official Forest Department order, refunds or re-bookings are governed strictly by state department policies.
